Is Burma is fine now? Oh No It Isn't!

Burma's OK - Oh no it isn't

Date: Tue 15 May 2012

After some positive government reforms, many people now regard Burma as respecting human rights. But it has not gone far enough.

At this talk we'll hear speakers from the country reflect on the situation, the continuing human rights violations, and what still needs to be done:

  • Generation 88 leader Ko Aung
  • Tun Khin of the Rohingya people
  • Ms Kai Htang and Miss Nancy Seng of the Kachin people

The event is free and everybody is welcome.
