Student Conference Production Volunteer
Amnesty International UK is looking for a Production Volunteer to assist in the delivery of one of our flagship events, our annual Student Conference. The event is a chance for our student activists from across the UK to come together to celebrate their achievements and get inspired for the coming academic year. Expect the unexpected
There arent many roles like this one. Working with our experienced and friendly team, you might be asked to help with organising the catering, managing the artists, running registration or keeping the dragons in order. You could be asked to source furniture quotes, liaise with the police or come up with a fool proof way of describing exactly where the toilets can be found. Sound like your thing?
Jugglers encouraged
Conference can be quite a chaotic environment, so if youre organised, cheerful and willing to get stuck in with what needs doing, wed like to hear from you. Ideally, youre good at multi-tasking, enjoy talking to people and working with folks from all walks of life. Applicants with event production experience (lighting, sound, staging, AV, stage management) are particularly encouraged to apply.
Satisfaction guaranteed
Amnesty International exists to fight for justice, freedom and truth wherever theyre denied. Your work will help to promote and defend human rights across the planet, and youll meet and hear about some amazingly inspiring people along the way.
Amnesty International values a diverse workforce and welcomes applications from all sections of the community.
