Human rights help people. Let’s build a better future with human rights.

For too long, human rights have been cast as a problem, when really they provide solutions to the problems people here and around the world are facing. Whether it’s dehumanising people seeking safety, the enduring crisis in Gaza or unprecedented levels of homelessness - human rights are the answer.

We’ve seen time and again that when we come together to use our rights we can change things for the better. Take Northern Ireland, where the power of collective action led to the decriminalisation of abortion. Or remember the Hillsborough Disaster - where the Human Rights Act and the relentless spirit of families, united in grief and resilience, brought truth to light.

And across our streets and cities - we’ve seen people rise up to claim their rights. Stronger and more united than ever.

It’s people-powered action using human rights that reshapes our policies, transforms our societies and rekindles hope. This election - let’s harness that power. Human rights aren’t just the solution - they are the way forward.
