On 7 December, Amnesty International UK will be hosting its first ever Human Rights Festival at Woolwich Works, one of London’s most vibrant cultural venues. Join us as we celebrate our collective power to make change happen and set the tone for the kind of world we all want to live in – with a full day of inspiring conversation, creativity and connection.

WHAT’S IN STORE?
Panel sessions, creative workshops, film screenings… AMPLIFY Human Rights Festival offers plenty of ways for you to enjoy inspiring conversations, learn something new, nurture creativity and connection – and feel inspired to continue to fight for human rights.

As a ticket holder, you will have access to all events throughout the day. Most rooms (aside from Fireworks Factory) have limited space, so we recommend arriving 15min early for any session you want to attend.

Chat to representatives from Amnesty UK’s Local Groups and connect with members of AIUK’s Feminist Network, or pick up a pen and Write for Rights.

Hungry? There will be food trucks serving delicious food. You can also bring your own picnic or enjoy a hot drink and a snack in the Woolwich Works Café.

Bringing children? Head up to our Children’s Space for drop-in creative play, a dazzling storytelling session, or a fab poetry workshop. Or head to our Human Rights cinema for some short films for children.

In the mood for a spot of shopping? Check out the Amnesty pop-up shop, open all day.
