Trade unionists shot in Zimbabwe
Striking miners at Shabanie Mines near Bulawayo have been demonstrating since 7 September to get back pay dating as far back as January. Three were taken to the nearby Zishavane hospital under police guard, and have since been moved to Harare for treatment.
The TUC has protested to the Zimbabwean ambassador to London, backing the calls of the Zimbabwe Congress of Trade Unions for a Parliamentary Commission of Inquiry. Find out more.
