A crazy upside down world
So apparently not content with bombing their country into the stone-age, the Government wants to send 1400 "failed" asylum seekers back to Iraq; this is despite the UNHCR consider it unsafe to return refugees to central or Southern Iraq. It seems likelty that the returnees will have to sign a waiver form saying that the British goverment is not reponsible for anything that happens to them once they return. If the failed asylum seekers don't take the home office up on its generous offer to return to one of the most dangerous countries on earth they face destitution. Nice.
