No: a film about Chile in the time of Pinochet
No, I have to say that I have not seen it yet, this film called No. Have you? Gael García Bernal (who I remember in the Motorcycle Diaries, about a journey by a young Che Guevara) stars as an advertising executive in Pablo Larraín’s film. In October 1988 a referendum was held in Chile to decide if Pinochet should remain in power for another eight years and the film is based on real events at that tim.e
Picturehouse cinemas around the country are showing the film on Tuesday 12 Feb. 2013.
