Italy, Spain, New Zealand and UK - a global children's rights movement for AI

This year at the AGM (as you may well already know), the UK Section passed a resolution calling for the UK delegation to this year's ICM in Turkey to urge the international movement to give priority to children's rights in the 2011-2016 Integrated Strategic Plan.

The ChildNet mailing list is going crazy with feedback from AGMs all over the world that are passing similar resolutions - to urge the international movement to focus on children's human rights for the next planning period (the 'ISP').

So far messages from Italy, Spain, Denmark and New Zealand have sent updates declaring that their AI sections have also agreed to take forward the proposal to prioritise children's rights.

Congratulations to them all!
