Free Liu Xiaobo and prisoners of conscience action in London on eve of Human Rights Day
On Thursday 9 December at 1.00pm, representatives ofChinese, Uighur Tibetan Solidarity UK (CUTS UK) will be delivering a large replicaNobel Peace Prize medal to the Chinese Embassy in London. This action is takingplace to highlight the continued imprisonment of 2010 Nobel Peace PrizeLaureate, Liu Xiaobo, and thousands of other prisoners of conscience acrossChina.
There will be a photo opportunity and representatives ofCUTS UK will be available for interview. The accompanying letter to the ChineseAmbassador will also be made available.
Note: On Human Rights Day, 10 December, CUTS UK is holding asolidarity candle-lit vigil outside the Chinese Embassy, from 6.00pm til8.00pm.
