AIUK BOARD ELECTION RESULTS 2019
FORMAL NOTICE
There were seven candidates for four places on the Amnesty International United Kingdom Section Board from 2019 -2022. This years’ vacancies consisted of two reserved places: one for Country Coordinators and one for Local Groups. There were also two unreserved places.
There were seven candidates for the two unreserved places: Eilidh Douglas, Basia Giezek, Helen Horton, Alex Jackson, James Lovatt, Juliane Thorbjørsen and Rebecca Warren.
Helen Horton and Rebecca Warren were also candidates for the one reserved place for Local Groups. Basia Giezek, Alex Jackson and James Lovatt were also candidates for the one reserved place for Country Coordinators.
Following a ballot, the candidates who were elected to the following seats were:
- Eilidh Douglas (unreserved)
- Helen Horton (unreserved)
- Rebecca Warren (Local Group seat)
- Basia Giezek (Country Coordinator seat)
I, therefore, declare that Eilidh Douglas, Rebecca Warren, Helen Horton and Basia Giezek are elected to the Amnesty International United Kingdom Section Board. All are elected for a three-year term.
