URGENT APPEAL: Rocky at risk of execution.

Rocky Myers, a loving father of four, has spent nearly three decades on death row in Alabama. He was convicted of murder following incredibly flawed proceedings, with racial prejudice and class bias affecting the proceedings against him. One of Rocky’s own defense lawyers was connected to a white supremacist hate group.

By making a donation today, you could help support Amnesty International UK activists and campaigners to mobilise the public and put pressure on the Governor of Alabama to urgently review Rocky’s case.

Rocky has been on death row in Alabama for almost 30 years, separated from his four children and family year after year, but now his situation has now become more urgent than ever.

Nitrogen hypoxia gas was used for the first time on 25 January 2024, in Alabama. This method of execution is new and untested, and the UN has warned it could amount to torture. Rocky could be the next person to be executed.

Please donate, which could help Amnesty International UK publicly campaign to help overturn Rocky’s death sentence and amplify the call for clemency in other death penalty cases.
