Amnesty International is relentlessly focused on protecting civilian lives and ensuring international humanitarian law and human rights law are upheld. Older people are disproportionately affected by war and conflict. They are often less physically able to evacuate their homes, or just reluctant to leave. Our investigators are working with older people in Ukraine and other countries and your support could help our campaign to defend their rights by helping to amplify our demands for a UN convention that enshrines protections for older people into International law

We all have the right to a decent standard of living, including adequate food, housing, medical care and social services. But millions of older people in Ukraine and worldwide are at risk of having these rights denied.
