I was privileged to attend a skills sharing day in London on 9 th March on the Amnesty campaign for women’s rights in Afghanistan.

On Monday Sept 2nd at 7.30- 9.00 pm , Trevor Trueman , a member of Malvern Amnesty Group , will be talking about his 20 years experience of reporting human rights abuses in Ethiopia and his interviews with over 180 refugees in Africa.

On 2nd Sept 2013 we welcomed Dr Trevor Trueman who gave a compelling and deeply moving talk on his 20 years experience of reporting human rights abuses in Ethiopia.

A warm autumn evening , a superb 60 strong choir and three talented young classic rock musicians, helped our group raise £591 for Amnesty in 2 hours, in an evening we entitled " Sing for Justice " .

This month the group wrote on behalf of Ali Anouzla who was charged in September with offences under Morocco’s severe anti-terrorism laws.
