About this group
WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE DO
We are a group of people living in Church Stretton area, who share a passion for justice and human rights. The group was formed eight years ago and has gone from strength to strength.
We produce campaigns that highlight human rights abuses. We write letters on behalf of prisoners of conscience throughout the world. We write to governments to protest about the use of torture and lack of fair trials for prisoners. We do a lot more than that. Why not come to one of our meetings and see for yourself what we are doing. We run social events locally to raise funds for Amnesty and publicise our group.
Everyone is welcome to our monthly meetings at 7.30 p.m. on the first Wednesday of each month at Silvester Horne Institute, High Street, Church Stretton SY6 6BY.
