Last month saw our very first online meeting
Last month saw our very first virtual meeting. Tech mishaps aside, it was great to see each other again and find out how everyone was doing during the lockdown.
We discussed a number of urgent actions that have recently been issued, including for Aser Mohamed, Ibrahim Ezz El-Din and Azza Soliman. We also heard the wonderful news that Ali Aarass had finally been released from prison in Morocco. While unable to leave the country due to covid 19, the group were so pleased to hear he is now free.
We discussed our plans for fundraising for the year ahead and how we could adapt our ideas to the lockdown situation - watch this space!
Our next meeting will be on Monday 15th June – members old and new, please do come along. All are welcome.
