Short Story Competition
The results of our short story competition have now been announced. We received very moving stories on many themes including domestic abuse, kidnapping, imprisonment, eviction, street gangs, child slavery, garment workers, the death penalty, immigration, witch-burning, discrimination, and bullying. It was a challenge to select the two winners, but thankfully that onerous task was taken on by author Dominic O’Sullivan, whose second book of short stories, Icarus in Reverse, has just been published.
The two prize winners are:
1st prize: Derek Brown, A Time for Change
2nd prize: Trevor Cleaves, Cabbage Patch Dolls
We hope you enjoy reading them.
Grateful thanks to everyone who entered, and to Dominic.
