This week is the Annual Week of Action against Drone Warfare.
The AI Univesity Student Group has organised a visit by the 'True Cost or War Tour' at Exeter University to present on the financial and human cost of drone warfare. http://www.cnduk.org/get-involved/events/item/1722-drones-the-true-cost-of-war-tour
They will be joined by Mary Dobbing from Voices for Creative Non Violence, a researcher who was in Afghanistan earlier this year and who will be giving a first-hand account of the impact of drones on civilians.
Penny Walker, one of the Waddington 6 who broke into the RAF base being used to control the armed Reaper drone in Afghanistan (http://www.theguardian.com/uk/2013/jun/04/six-arrested-drone-protest-raf-waddington) will also be present.
