Speakers in 2024

We have had 2 very interesting speakers attend our monthly meetings on the first Tuesday of the month at 7.45pm at St Francis Social Club in Haywards Heath

The first Harry McWirter talked to us about the 30 remaining detainees held in Guantanamo Bay.

All are held without charge or trial but a few have made confessions.

The remaining men have been refused a safe country to live in.

And a number have been immediately jailed on arrival when promised a safe haven in which to reside.

The Guantanamo Support Group are always keen to hear from interested people and we can put you in touch.

We have also had a speaker Mary Barrett from The Gatwick Detainees Welfare Group. We are collecting men's clothing, shoes and bags if you would like to help. Please contact our email and we can arrange collection.
