To mark our 50th vigil on Friday 11 October you are invited to join us from 4.00pm for free light refreshments in Central Library café (ground floor). This will be an opportunity to meet and finally say hello to one another, after standing together in silent witness every Friday for a whole year!
We started the weekly vigil for Israel and Palestine on 20 October last year. And thanks to your loyal and steadfast support, we are still bearing witness one year on. On 11 October we will display a large placard marking one year / 50 vigils. If possible, we will also display the large banner made using many of the hearts and messages contributed by people in Manchester. We have invited local MPs, The Mayor, Councillors and friends from local churches and mosques etc. as well as the press and media.
