Silent vigil for Israel and Palestine

Amnesty International, Manchester invites you to join us in a fourth silent vigil calling for a ceasefire and the protection of all civilians in Israel and Palestine.

Last week about 55 of us stood in the dark and rain but were heartened by the number of passersby who thanked us and endorsed our messages.

We hope that more will join us in this urgent call for peace and justice.

Friday 10th November, 5pm to 6pm

Meet from 4.55pm in front of Central Library

Please wear black or dark colours

No placards / No banners / No flags / No chants

Simple placards will be provided bearing the messages:

Hamas: Release all hostages

Israel: No collective punishments

Protect all civilians

Uphold International Law

Protect human rights

Stop war crimes

Ceasefire now

Humanitarian aid now
