Silent vigil for Israel and Palestine

Amnesty International, Manchester invites you to join us in a third silent vigil calling for a ceasefire and the protection of all civilians in Israel and Gaza.

Our first two vigils attracted attention from passers-by, with several comments made to us about the dignified and respectful nature of the vigil.

We hope that more will join us in this urgent call for peace and justice.

St Peters Square, Manchester

Friday 3^rd November, 5pm to 6pm

Meet from 4.45pm in front of Central Library

Please wear black or dark colours

No placards / No banners / No flags / No chants

Simple placards will be provided bearing the messages:

Hamas: Release all hostages

Israel: No collective punishments

Protect all civilians

Uphold International Law

Protect human rights

Stop war crimes

Ceasefire now

Humanitarian aid now
