The Minehead Group's February 2025 newsletter includes further reports of our Write for Rights events in December last year. It also covers some good news of the release of prisoners featured in previous Write for Rights campaigns as well as recent releases from Guantanamo Bay. Regular features include campaign updates on India, actions you can take this month and diary dates for the next few months.

On Thursday 13 February, the Minehead Amnesty group will be holding its AGM at the Minehead Quaker Meeting House, on Bancks Street. It will start at 1430 with a talk on Pakistan and then, after a break for tea & cake, we will go on to the usual AGM business. As well as receiving the chair's and treasurer's annual reports, we need to discuss the future of the group and make some decisions about how to proceed. All local Amnesty members will be very welcome to join us.
