Our meeting next month will be on Thursday November 8th. As usual we will meet at The Twickenham Club, 7 Church St, Twickenham TW1 3NJ from 8pm - 9.30pm.

Our speaker will be Paul Dawson, Amnesty's Country Coordinator for the Middle East and Gulf Team. Paul will talk to us about the current situation for human rights in Yemen, a country currently devastated by airstrikes in which our government is complicit, and facing what the UN warns will be the worst famine in 100 years, if bombing continues.

On a lighter note, we are pleased to let you know that by taking part in AIUK's Street Collection this October, we made a total of £397.84, which will be sent to Amnesty UK Charitable Section. Thank you to all who participated on what was a very cold, wet day.
