Hello to everyone we met at St. Mary's in Stockport on Friday.

Stockport Group's last monthly meeting of 2012 is coming up on Thursday 13th December.

December 10th is Human Rights Day. Every year, Human Rights Day is marked around the world, to commemorate the anniversary of the Universal Declaration Of Human Rights (UDHR).

Many many thanks to everyone who supported us at the Stockport Fairtrade Fair on Saturday. We met some lovely people, as we always do every year at this event.

This Saturday, November 17th, we'll be at the Stockport Fair Trade Fair.

Amnesty International Stockport Group will be taking part in this year's Alternative Christmas Market at Poynton Methodist Church.

Stockport Group has been without a Prisoner Of Conscience for a while now, but we can announce that the group is now supporting an “Individual at Risk”, as part of Amnesty's campaign against the death penalty.
