We had a great night out on Saturday, thanks to the Amaretti Chamber Orchestra, who gave a wonderful concert in support of Amnesty.

It was great to get to the AGM again, made rather convenient by just being up the road in Manchester. Unfortunately we rather missed out on the evening entertainment due to the proximity, but we did get a chance to meet up with friends...

For Mother's Day in 2012 the group showed support for Women of Zimbabwe Arise (WOZA) by sending roses with messages of support to the Zimbabwean Embassy.

These are extraordinary times in the Middle East as we all know. We counted ourselves lucky this weekend to be part of Syria Day in Manchester.
