July monthly meeting
Wednesday July 9th at the Friends’ Meeting House, 37 Maidenhead Road, Stratford join us to hear Val Clark, President of Stratford upon Avon’s Soroptomist International (SI) Club, speak about the Soroptomists’ mission to educate, empower and enable women and girls’ rights and opportunities. In particular she will focus on the Club’s commitment this year to raise the issue of human trafficking 7.30 for business meeting; 8.00 for the speaker. All welcome.
Concert for Amnesty
Saturday July 12th Amnesty International Summer Recital, a Women Composer Concert featuring Felicity Wright (soprano), Lindsay Martin (flute) and Antoine Mitchell (pianoforte), at 7.30 p.m. at St Nicholas's Church, Church Street, Warwick, CV34 4JD. Tickets £10 from St Nicholas's Church (01926 419905) or from Simon Liebermann (01926 250098).
Fund raising -coffee morning
Saturday July 19th 10.30 a.m. - 12 noon. Everyone is invited to a fund-raising coffee morning in the garden at 4, Old Town, Stratford on Avon, CV37 6BG. Home-made produce on sale and a chance to win some great raffle prizes. On-street pay parking available or in the Church Street car park behind the Windmill pub. Donations to Amnesty International.
Letter writing
Thursday July 31st Letter writing for Individuals at Risk between 10.00 a.m. and 12 noon at the Falcon Hotel, Chapel Street, Stratford on Avon. All welcome, bring a pen, everything else provided, coffee optional.
