November meeting, Wednesday November 12th, 7.30 p..m. at the Friends' Meeting House, 37 Maidenhead Road, Stratford on Avon.
Time to get properly informed about the Labour Party's human rights policies? Why not come along to our November meeting on Wednesday 12th November when our special speaker will be Prof. Jeff Kenner (European Law, Nottingham University); Stratford District Cllr (Shipston on Stour); the Labour Party’s prospective parliamentary candidate for Stratford upon Avon. The title of his talk is: "The promotion and protection of human rights under a future Labour Government”. Jeff will speak about the Labour Party’s policies on human rights and this is a great opportunity to cut through some of the background noise on human rights and find out what Labour plans to do if they get into office. You will be made very welcome - come along and join the debate what ever your views!
Group letter writing Thursday November 29th 10.00 - 12 noon at the Falcon Hotel, Chapel Street, Stratford on Avon.
Drop in letter writing for individuals at risk, just join us between 10.00 a.m. and midday, case studies and paper will be provided, coffee an optional extra, a welcome assured.
