Special focus on Egypt in November - advance notice
At its monthly meeting on November 13th (at 7.30) Ann Marcus, Amnesty’s Country Coordinator for Egypt, will give a talk on "The Egyptian Judiciary and its attitude to Protesters". As a part of this, she will also give an overview of the current situation in Egypt.
Also joining us on November 13th will be Salah Seoudy, President of Sussex University’s Amnesty Society, and himself an Egyptian. Salah spent the summer in Alexandria and will be making a welcome return to Stratford (he studied at the College in 2011) to give us his impressions of what is happening in Egypt.
