Support Amnesty's work on Syria
Syrians have suffered intensive and indiscriminate shelling from President Assad's government over the past month. More than 6,000 Syrians are reported to have been killed in less than a year, and the death toll rises every day. Our researchers were recently told about mortars and guns fired at family homes, troops going door to door beating up men and boys, unarmed civilians shot by snipers.
We need to make sure that the human rights abuses being committed in Syria right now can be effectively communicated, as well as building the capacity of Syrian activists in preparation for the 'new Syria'. Amnesty is providing Syrians - including many in the UK - with a wide range of tools and training to speak out. But we need your support to continue doing so.
