Brain Power Needed for Quiz Night
Quiz lovers have the chance to pit their wits and support human rights in a fundraiser for the Sutton Coldfield group of Amnesty International.
Taking place at Sutton Town Football Club in Coles Lane, Sutton Coldfield, at 8pm on Friday April 7, the quiz features general knowledge, music, sport, television and much more.
Entry costs £5 per person which will go to support the work of Amnesty International, a charity which campaigns for human rights across the world.
Sutton Coldfield group chairman and quizmaster Andrew Hindle said: “We know our annual quiz is a firm fixture in many diaries but we’d love to welcome as many teams as possible. Just turn up on the night with the entry fee and your brain ready to be challenged.
“We accept teams of up to six people but, if you’re on your own, there are usually teams you can join. We’ll also have a raffle and people will have the chance to sign letters for prisoners of conscience.”
The Sutton Coldfield branch of Amnesty International meets on the second Tuesday of every month (except August) at 8pm in the Conference Centre, Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 69 Lichfield Road, Sutton Coldfield, B74 2NU. New members are always given a warm welcome.
