Our Chair attended a large Ceasefire protest in London with a group of around 70 other Amnesty activists, including from the International headquarters and some visitors from foreign AI Sections. Amnesty filmed the group prior to the protest, and posted a short clip on social media. The Twitter/X version was viewed over 9.2 million times!

Amnesty’s current position is that it has launched a petition urging world leaders to call for an immediate ceasefire by all parties and put an end to the ongoing humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza.

Amnesty has also been documenting evidence of violations of international law, including war crimes, by all parties to the conflict.
