Hong Kong film "She's in Jail" - 7 September 2024

Several Sutton Amnesty members attended the film ”She’s in Jail”, a very powerful account documenting the incarceration of Hang-Tung Chow, a prominent political activist, in Hong Kong. Members may recall Hang-Tung was one of the Write For Rights cases in 2022.

This film screening was organised by the Sutton Hong Kong Cultural & Arts Society, and was shown in Sutton Library, with around 50 in attendance, including Lyndon, Ann and Barbara. Our Chair gave a short speech about Sutton Amnesty’s work, which was well-received.
