Iran film "There is No Evil" - 25 September 2024

On 25 September, our Chair attended the Iranian film “There is No Evil”, shown at the Garden Cinema in Covent Garden, with an introduction by activist and actress Elika Ashoori.

Winner of the Golden Bear at the Berlin Film Festival in 2020, “There Is No Evil” tackles Iran's use of the death penalty through four moral tales about men faced with a simple yet unthinkable choice. This was a one-off fundraiser screening organised by one of AIUK’s two Iran Country Coordinators, Nils Scott.
