Mahsa Amini Iran Protest in London - 15 September 2024

Our Chair attended a protest at 10 Downing Street commemorating the second anniversary of the death of Mahsa Amini in Iran. Mahsa died in police custody on 16 September 2022 after being detained for not wearing a head scarf correctly. This sparked massive demonstration and the birth of the “Woman Life Freedom” movement. Although the attendance at this year’s protest was smaller, the speakers were just as passionate.
