Next meeting, 6 February 2023, 8.00 pm with Ali Abdulemam talking about Bahrain (Hybrid Meeting)

Our next meeting will take place on Monday 6 February 2023, 20.00 – 22.00 at the Friends Meeting House, 10 Cedar Road, Sutton SM2 5DA, just a few minutes walk from Sutton station. This is a hybrid meeting, so people can join the meeting via zoom too! Please email our Group Secretary for a zoom invite if you wish to join this meeting on zoom.

Our speaker will be Ali Abdulemam, who is a well-known Bahraini blogger and former political prisoner, now living in the UK. He will talk about the human rights situation in Bahrain, and also a little about the British-Egyptian Alaa Abdel Fattah, who is a good friend of his.

There will be updates on our group campaigns and we will speak about new urgent actions.
