I just wanted to remind you of a few events, developments and actions
Events :
-TAL Festival this weekend especially Freedom from Torture (Medical Foundation for the Care of Victims of Torture)'s play, "Souvenirs" in Thame Players' Theatre this Saturday, 19 October, 3 30pm.I attach a print out from the TAL programme.
-next monthly meeting this coming Wednesday, 23 October, 7 30pm-9pm in Lord Williams Lower School Sports Centre (1st floor Conference Room), off Queens Rd
-Thame Charities' Christmas Fair, Saturday 9 November, 10am-1pm, Thame Town Hall. Any contributions of jams, chutneys and cakes and anything else that might sell, will be much appreciated. Please contact me at the above

Developments
On the other side of the Atlantic, we are pleased that the USA has signed the International Arms Trade Treaty. Whilst signature of the treaty will not necessarily lead quickly to its ratification, this is a very significant and welcome step.
