Warrington

Welcome to the Warrington Amnesty local group page.

We are a small friendly group and undertake actions to support Amnesty campaigns related to Palestine and the Palestinians. This includes letter writing, photo opportunities, presentations and joining events organised by other local like minded groups. We also support Amnesty campaigns in the Central South America area. Our activities for Write for Rights include a card and letter signing 'Amnestea' and a Write for Rights Christmas tree at a local Christmas tree festival. Fundraising includes an annual plant sale and stalls at local 'pre-loved' events.

When we meet

We meet on the third Thursday of each month, except August and December, at 7pm at Stockton Heath Methodist church, Walton Road, Stockton Heath, Warrington WA4 6LP.

We take actions to support a number of Amnesty networks including Death Penalty and Children's' Network. We are aiming to increase our social programme to include walks, coffee and chat and our pot luck supper in December which is a thank you to all who have helped at events during the year.
