The June 2018 newsletter, attached, highlights an action against the death sentence received by 19 year old Noura Hussein Hamad Daoud, in Sudan.

There is also a reminder about the up-coming Festival of Chichester 2018.  The highlight for the group is the talk in the Cathedral on 19/06/2018 by Kate Allen, Director of Amnesty UK, on human rights defenders in this, the 70th anniversary year of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.  I hope to see you there, and please do pass on to other interested parties.  There are a number of other events on human rights themes taking place in the Festival, that members should also find interesting: we have highlighted these in the newsletter.
