A busy December for the Mayfair and Soho Group

The Mayfair and Soho Group are holding three events this December.

On Sunday 2 December at 12.00 at Liverpool Street Station we will hold a ceremony commemorating the 80th anniversary of the Kindertransport. We hope to make this a joint event with other Amnesty groups in Europe where there are memorials to the Kindertransport.

On Saturday 8 December we will be taking part in the annual Write for Rights Campaign with a stall at Finsbury Library, St John Street EC1 for people to sign letters and cards.

On Thursday 13 December, at 7.00 at the Human Rights Action Centre, 17-25 New Inn Yard EC2 we will be holding an event to mark the 70th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights - a key document for Amnesty International. There will be readings of original work by members of the Human Rights Creative Writers' Group and we will also be remembering by name over 200 people whose rights under the Universal Declaration have been violated and for whom Amnesty has worked.
