Amnesty International Secretary General Salil Shetty said:
“We are delighted that Thomas Schultz-Jagow will be joining the Amnesty International Senior Leadership Team.
“We look forward to working with him to drive forward high-impact campaigns and communications at a time when the fight for human rights around the world is so important to millions of people as they stand up against repression and in justice.”
Thomas Schultz-Jagow said:
“I am very excited to be joining Amnesty International, an organisation I have admired for many years.
“It will be a privilege to lead the merger of Amnesty International’s campaigns and communications work at a time when the organisation is focusing on growth in the global south.”
