The Government’s proposals to replace the Human Rights Act (HRA) are profoundly Westminster-centric. Amnesty International UK (AIUK) is deeply concerned about the government’s proposals. Among other concerns they are at significant odds with the human rights protections enjoyed within Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland and risk breaching the Belfast/Good Friday Agreement.
