Amnesty International UK submission to International Agreements Committee on UK-Rwanda Treaty

This submission was made to the House of Lords International Agreements Committee for the Committee's inquiry into the UK-Rwanda Treaty.

The Treaty is intimately linked to the Government's Safety of Rwanda (Asylum and Immigration) Bill.

The submission explains why the Treaty provides no good basis for assuming Rwanda to be safe, still less seeking to overturn the ruling of the Supreme Court that it is not safe and excluding any proper administrative or judicial consideration of the question of Rwanda's safety.
