Paul Storey, aged 32, is scheduled to be executed in Texas on 12 April. Among those who are calling for clemency are the parents of the man he was convicted of killing in 2006. One of the jurors who voted for the death sentence also opposes the execution.
Urgent Action: Former prisoner of conscience detained again in Myanmar
Activist, Htin Kyaw is again being detained solely for the peaceful exercise of his human rights. Arrested in October 2016 for his criticism of the Myanmar justice system, his next court hearing is on 5 April 2017 and, if convicted, he faces up to two years’ imprisonment.

Urgent action update: Free Syrian refugee from unlawful detention in Greece
Noori, a 21-year-old Syrian refugee, continues to be unlawfully detained in a police station on the Greek island of Lesvos. He has been in detention since 9 September and is awaiting to find out whether he will be forcibly returned to Turkey under the EU-Turkey deal. The uncertainty he has been facing for months and the poor detention conditions are having a negative impact on his wellbeing.
