Six staff members and a volunteer from TRACKS for Training and Human Development and the visiting director of Al Zarqa for Rural Development organisation have been detained since 22 May at the office of the National Intelligence and Security Service (NISS) Prosecutor of crimes against the state in Khartoum, the capital of Sudan.

Two Chinese activists are at risk of torture and other ill-treatment and unfair trial. They were recognized as refugees by the UN’s Refugee Agency, but were forcibly returned to China from Thailand in violation of international law. Urgent Action update: Guarani Kaiowa risk imminent forced eviction in Brazil
The Apika’y Indigenous People, one of the most vulnerable of the Guarani Kaiowá communities of Mato Grosso do Sul state, are once again facing forced eviction. The judge who issued the eviction order only notified the community five days in advance, and the authorities have not adequately consulted with the community or provided them with resettlement alternatives.
