We receive regular donations of newly published books with an emphasis on contemporary fiction, non-fiction, classics and children’s books. Our foreign languages section is particularly strong, as is our range of visual arts, self-help, and cookery books.

If you’re looking for cards and gifts you’ll find a varied range of ethical, Fairtrade, hand eco-friendly Amnesty products for children and adults, as well as original cards, postcards, and other handmade items produced by local artists.

We are always looking for people to join our volunteer team. If you want to learn more there is a bit more about volunteering in Amnesty bookshops here,  to find out about the vacancies we have email kentishtownbookshop@amnesty.org.uk or pop in for a chat.

If you’re thinking of donating to us, please refer to the donation section below.
