22-year-old Kareem Amer has been held without bail since November for writing in favor of secularism and women's rights on his blog. When he goes to trial on 22 February, he is expected to be sentenced to nearly a decade in prison for this "crime."
Come to a peaceful rally at the Egyptian Embassy to support Kareem and the right to freedom of expression. The demonstration will be Thursday, February 15, from 3pm to 6pm.
