We're always keen to get the word out. Please get in touch if you have a suitable space and would be willing to display Amnesty posters, leaflets or themed photographic exhibitions, even if only for a short time.
It was great to get to the AGM again, made rather convenient by just being up the road in Manchester. Unfortunately we rather missed out on the evening entertainment due to the proximity, but we did get a chance to meet up with friends...
For Mother's Day in 2012 the group showed support for Women of Zimbabwe Arise (WOZA) by sending roses with messages of support to the Zimbabwean Embassy.

Stockport Group has been without a Prisoner Of Conscience for a while now, but we can announce that the group is now supporting an “Individual at Risk”, as part of Amnesty's campaign against the death penalty.
This Saturday, November 17th, we'll be at the Stockport Fair Trade Fair.
