Egypt’s National Security Agency subjected 14-year-old Aser Mohamed to enforced disappearance for 34 days. The boy claims that he was tortured and ill-treated to confess to offences he did not commit.

Urgent Action: Activists summoned by police risk imprionment in Thailand
Police have summoned six individuals, including two staff of a human rights organization, in relation to a criminal investigation into a “Speak for Freedom” event held on 31 July. All six are expected to report to the police station on 31 August.
